Everything you need to know about our online courses.
Access & Pricing
Data & Privacy
Your account data (name, email), course progress, quiz results, and certificates are retained for as long as your account exists. We do not automatically delete accounts or progress data.
Operational data is cleaned up periodically: resolved support messages after 24 months, expired sessions after 90 days, and learning streak history after 24 months. This housekeeping does not affect your courses, progress, or certificates.
Certificates remain verifiable through their unique credential URL, independent of your account status.
For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.
Accessibility
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA, in line with the European Accessibility Act. In practice that means semantic HTML, a logical heading structure, ARIA landmarks, skip links, and full keyboard operation.
We also pay attention to sufficient colour contrast, resizable text, visible focus indicators, and support for the "reduced motion" preference. Videos use an accessible player with captions and transcripts where available, and meaningful images carry alternative text.
Full details are in our accessibility statement.
We are honest about the limits. Some older videos do not yet have full captions or a transcript, and we are working through them. Some downloadable PDFs do not yet fully meet the guidelines.
Third-party content we link to, such as the external practice web shop or embedded material, is outside our control and may have a different level of accessibility. We assess ourselves through manual checks, keyboard navigation, and screen readers, rather than a full formal audit by an external party.
Course Content
The course videos are created with AI assistance. The content, scripts, and structure are entirely mine, based on my professional experience and how I teach these topics in classroom trainings. I recorded my voice and appearance to create a digital presenter that delivers the lessons on camera. The result is a video of me explaining the material, produced with AI technology.
I chose this approach because it allows me to update videos quickly when tools or frameworks change, keeping the content always current. What you hear and see is my expertise and my teaching style. The production technology simply makes it possible to deliver that at a consistent, professional quality.
Support
Yes. Two routes are available, and both end up in the same inbox:
- Send message at the bottom of every lesson, for questions about the material, exercises, or anything that is blocking you.
- Leave feedback at the bottom of every lesson, for suggestions, typos, or a confusing explanation.
Every message goes to Roy de Kleijn, the instructor. You get a real response with clarification, a fix, or concrete next steps, not just an acknowledgement.
Every message is answered within two working days during Dutch business hours: Monday to Friday, Central European Time, excluding Dutch public holidays.
The reply is substantive, with guidance, a fix, or concrete next steps. If a planned absence means a longer wait, that is announced inside the course before it happens.
Availability
Germany's Fernunterrichtsschutzgesetz (FernUSG) requires providers of online courses sold to German residents to hold a certification from the Zentralstelle für Fernunterricht (ZFU).
As Testsmith does not currently hold this certification, we are unable to offer our online courses for sale to customers in Germany. We respect German legislation and therefore exclude Germany from course purchases.
